Yeah, folks, I am talking about our own Sex and the City alumnus, Sarah Jessica Parker, and her relentless ability to surprise and force me to say (and I hope everyone would follow suit), ‘I Don’t Know How She Does It!’

Quite interestingly, it is the title of her next movie!

Frankly speaking, a look at the film’s central character, Kate Reddy, makes one wonder if the hotshot was destined to play the role in the film, as much of Kate’s life resembles that of Sarah.

During an interview, the lady, who actually compelled many of the drama lovers to procure a download of the Sex and the City, revealed that she has been blessed with a lovely husband who has always been supportive.

I hope Matthew Broderick reads this post. If he does that, he won’t let go of any opportunity to go gaga over his beloved wife.
A give and take kind of situation, you know!

By the way, I am looking forward to the film, not because it has one of my favorite stars on board, but because it substantially mirrors her personal life’s nitty-gritty.

It’s pretty understood by now that acting is her first love. But why has she taken to perfume business? Maybe, it was one of her long-standing desires to give vent to her childhood memories through the aroma of a brand new perfume line, who knows!

Whatever it might be, I just wish that she continues to carry on with her workaholic attitude throughout and lets us revel in excitement after the release of her every new project.

Sarah Jessica Parker is not just a name, but an embodiment of panache, hard work and unflinching commitment, all blended together!

Yes, I am talking about the prequel to the smash hit series Sex and the City, which has earned approval from CW network for a premiere.

Based on the book series, The Carrie Diaries by Candace Bushnell, the prequel will dish out the life Carrie Bradshaw lived, before she met her friends (Samantha and Miranda) in The Sex and the City .

And it’s absolutely a shocker of a news that the lady, who actually popularized the character in the drama will not be seen reprising the role.

Well, all the fans of Sarah have reason to break out in fury, but they should know that the prequel would tell the stories of high school days, and the 46-year-old star wouldn’t go well with the story arc.

And if I am not wrong, I think this was the only reason that Sarah is not picked for the project.

However, rumor has it that Sarah was strongly against the approval of the prequel. Seems like she already knew about the bleak chance of landing a role!

Well, the actress, who would play the Carrie Bradshaw’s role hasn’t been decided yet. But it would surely make for a good watch if someone of Sarah Jessica Parker’s caliber comes forward. However, the magic of Sex and the City, which is still sought after online, can’t be recreated.

It was a masterpiece in its own, and even the screen siren would not mind ranking Carrie Bradshaw as one of the most memorable characters she had ever portrayed in her career.

Apart from Sarah, the other big gun to have disassociated with the prequel is Michael Patrick King, the guy, who produced the dramedy.

Surely, tough times ahead for the Sex and the City prequel, but I just wish that it comes out right on time. After all, there is some inquisitiveness in everybody to know Carrie Bradshaw’s early days!

She has already won millions of hearts across the globe for her longstanding commitment to the character of Carrie Bradshaw.

And it’s not just because of the fact that Carrie is the voice of the fantasies of a bunch of affluent American women, which fans have found so much attachment with. But we have to bestow much of the credit on the seasoned star like Sarah Jessica Parker for perfectly steering the character, across six consecutive seasons.

I have no qualms in saying that she doesn’t owe anything to her fans as whatever she had done to entertain all of us (include the Sex and the City movies) was more than enough.

It’s indeed a sign of benevolence on her part that she, along with her hubby, would be appearing in a treasure hunt in October.
Surely, the money generated for the treasure hunt at the behest of Natural History, New Work would be used for charity.

To add more, it’s been announced that the organization named Friends in Deed would help people with serious illnesses.
Hats off to you, Sarah!

I don’t need to bring the fact to public notice that you have taken the decision of making into the treasure hunt on your own, thereby setting a good example for all the other celebrities from entertainment world.

Undoubtedly, fans who used to watch Sex and the City (some might still buy time to stroll down the memory lane online), would welcome this new move of hers.

It’s not just about the American Museum of Natural History and its treasures, but also about using the age-old artifacts or remains for the benefit of the people in general. And Sarah is up with her service towards humanity, which is indeed a great thing.

It is always appreciable when a star keeps his or her fans informed about everything that is true and authentic.

Sarah Jessica Parker’s recent announcement through her representative, about the bleak chances of Sex and the City’s return would have been dripped in the same color of keeping the fans updated, had there been a less vociferous claim.

Her representative would have easily said that there is less possibilities of the show’s return on the small screen.

However, rumors have it that Sex and the City might make a comeback, sans Sarah!

Well, well, well!

Now, we can figure out the actress’ desperation to negate all the reports of show’s new stint. And I think it would be a kind of loud trashing on her face, if fans get yet another chance to download the new pack of drama from Sex and the City.

I really feel that Jesse would have waged all the pros and cons, before letting her representative go all rapturous about the constant media reports.

If she has not considered those, then can we assume that her character would be eliminated completely!

Maybe yes!

But that wouldn’t be good idea under any circumstances, because Carrie Bradshaw was indeed an important character of the show.

The fact that the character won her series a Golden Globe is an absolute proof for that!

It seems like there is double doubt in the new rumor about the revival of Sex and the City.

If on one hand, we consider Sarah’s claim, we would hurt the emotion of several fans who would like to see the show unfurling. But on the other extreme, if we take the rumors of show without her to be true, we cut off the role of a great enchantress.

I am sure, the actress herself got fed up with all kinds of rumors pouring in, and that’s why asked her reps to make the statement on her behalf.

Both sides of the story need some excessive evidences. I think, in the next couple of weeks, we would get to know that.

But if Jesse has prior knowledge, it is imperative that she should come clear about it sooner.

Anticipation is high and it isn’t just the appearance of the chemotherapy-treated character that she has to do justice to, but she would also have to showcase the mindset of a grief-stricken university professor.

It’s needless to reinstate that most of her fans loved to watch her as Miranda Hobbes in Sex and the City, and some crazy ones still go online to enjoy her acts.

But those who knew her right from her initial stage of acting career would be elated to witness her return on Broadway.

Playing in front of a live audience is perhaps the most difficult job for an actor. But once somebody manages to learn the art of connecting with that kind of an audience, it becomes really easy for that actor to face any sort of crowd.

And the same could go for Cynthia, too. Her stint on smash hit drama lasted for almost six years post which she appeared in the movie series as well. That apart, she has also appeared in several movies that raked in good collection at the box office.

She would be thanking Broadway all her life for crafting her into the actor she is today!

Sex And The City’s Samantha Jones has always been an active participator in promoting the rights of the LGBT community. She has worked passionately towards making the community more visible in the society.

Now, Gay & Lesbian Alliance against Defamation (GLAAD) has recognized her efforts, and felicitated her with the Golden Gate Award at the recent GLAAD Media Awards function.

We, as viewers, always appreciate and turn into success, a show that we like. We appreciate the stars and the directors.

But rarely do we mention the writers, who, out of their imaginative minds, churn stories that directors and actors base their creativity on.

We adored Sex and the City, and the entire cast that worked in bringing that out to us.
Today, let’s talk about Candace Bushnell, who penned her first book called ‘Sex and the City’, which we largely know as the TV series, directed by Darren Star.

Candace is an awesome writer, and most of her works have achieved international acclaim. She will be coming to Brentwood shortly, to sign copies of her latest work, ‘Summer in the City’.

Last year, Candace penned her sixth book, ‘The Carrie Diaries’. The new book is the sequel to ‘The Carrie Diaries’. The author’s first novel, ‘Sex and the City’ has been made immortal by Darren’s TV series’ adaptation.

I think, today, people know the series more than the novel and they know Candace due to the show.

Carrie Bradshaw, the character played by Sarah Jessica Parker, is hailed as Candace’s own life and of her friends, told in parts. She liked writing those accounts first in diaries, and then wrote a book, when she had sufficient material to turn it into one.

When she will arrive in Brentwood, I am sure people would flock to get their copies signed from her.

And how happy will she be, seeing that people still haven’t gotten over the charm of Sex and the City, with the show being of air since 2004.

Sex and the City is a great show! Elizabeth Taylor was a great actor!

The two time Academy Award winner, who recently passed away, never appeared on any episode of Sex and the City.

So, what’s the relation?

Did you know that Charlotte York Goldenblatt, the unforgettable character played by Kristin Davis in the hit TV series, was inspired from Elizabeth Taylor’s life!

The character became extremely famous and is still a household name. Well, it had to be!

When the inspiration behind a character is such an awesome personality, it is bound to be unforgettable. And it isn’t just us, who revered the character of Charlotte. Kristin Davis who idolized Charlotte (and, apparently, Elizabeth) loves the character, too.

In the series, Charlotte’s dog was named Elizabeth Taylor, and it continued to be an integral part of Charlotte’s life. Even Elizabeth Taylor, liked the character pretty much and parted with suggestions.

Charlotte drew a lot of strength from Elizabeth’s strong and willful persona. The episodes that dealt with Elizabeth’s conservative, yet hard talks could be looked up to understand the actress we loved the most.

Each one of us who’s missing Elizabeth has a remedy at hand now. We can very well look for her shades in Charlotte’s character, and relive the magic of the diva.

Though, there is nothing we can do to bring Elizabeth back, it would be a fitting tribute to catch her charisma, so perfectly reflected by Charlotte in Sex and the City!
