Season 1  of  Sex and the City Tv Show  was premiered on sixth June 1998. It introduces to the four friends, Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte, the four bachelor girls. It is roller coaster ride as they pursue or are pursued by different men and the sexual chemistry that follows.
Notable among the relationships is between Carrie and Mr. Big. Throughout the season they meet and part until they break up in the last episode. Miranda goes dating with Skipper Johnston for some time then some one from the gym class and ultimately in the last episode goes out with a catholic.
Charlotte dates Capote Duncan but does not prefer sex with him so ends up with Samantha instead. In a later episode she meets a famous artist Neville Morgan who paints pictures of Charlotte’s vagina for his next exhibition. In the eighth episode she gets interested in having a three some sex and in the next episode tries the vibrator ‘Rabbit’. Then when she gets interested in a man who does not prefer sex anymore, she gets a psychic reader to determine whether she will ever marry or not.
Samantha too has men coming and going out of her life and she also throws a no-baby shower in the tenth episode, in response to a baby shower the friends go to.
The chasing and sex continues till the last episode of the season which is all about the religious inclinations of the men these friends are dating. The episode, titled ‘Oh Come, All Ye Faithful’ was broadcasted on twenty – third August 1998.
