The second season of Sex and the City premiered on 6th June, 1999 and ended on 3rd October 1999 spanning eighteen episodes.

Carrie comes across "the new Yankee," Joe, at a baseball game. She by mistake suggests that her friend Susan Sharon separate from her husband. She then starts dating plenty of freaky guys, thus herself becoming freakish.

She also has an awful photograph taken for the cover page of a New York Magazine. She also starts dating Mr. Big again but since he doesn’t pay a lot of attention to her she is quite upset.
